In a recent recording of a variety show in China, Jay Chou shared with the audience his journey to become the international star that he is today.
Jay has been in the entertainment industry since he was 18, starting out by taking second place in a songwriting competition.
He also says, "After graduating from high school at the age of 18, I didn't manage to get into a university, so I started writing songs,". He continued saying, "Luckily, I know how to play the piano,".
Jay, who is 32 this year, reveals that he is "getting older and unable to dance due to shortness of breath, which is why all the fast songs are arranged at the end of the concert,".
When asked about the progress of his new album since it's been over a year since Jay's last album "The Era", he reassures fans that "preparation for his new album is almost done".
